CT-e

Correction letter

Registers event 110110 (correction letter) on an authorized CT-e.

POST/openapi/v2/empresas/{empresaId}/cte/{cteId}/carta-correcao

Requires the token, timestamp and sign signature headers, see Authentication.

Sent synchronously; on success the event object is returned. Allowed within 720 hours after authorization (10017049); the sequence auto-increments, with a limit of 20 letters (10017044). Once a correction letter is registered the document can no longer be cancelled (10017048 on cancellation).

    Event registration date and time, ISO-8601 in UTC.

The document status does not allow the event; the CT-e must be Autorizada.

Invalid event text (length out of range after sanitization).

SEFAZ rejected the event; mensagem carries the cStat and the reason.

Correction letter sequence limit reached (20 per document).

Correction letter outside the 720-hour window after authorization.

Request field validation failed (one entry per field); fix per mensagem.

Text sanitization and coordinates

Text fields are sanitized (accents stripped, whitespace collapsed) before length validation; text that falls out of range after sanitization returns 10017042. Coordinates are registered with six decimals.
